FRANK W. TOWERS
Frank W. Towers is a resident of Gainesville, Florida and a veteran of World War II. As a First Lieutenant he was assigned to M Company,
120th Infantry Regiment of the 30th Infantry Division.
Lt. Towers experiences during World War II are to many for me to try and explain. Below are links to his personal military memoirs. These memoirs are taken from the diary he kept during the war.
Frank is the president and historian of the "30th Infantry Division Veterans of WWII" which is composed of over 1,000 WWII Veterans.
This incredible man is involve with many other veterans organization, such as the D-Day Veterans Association Of Alachua County. Frank, as he has done in the past, will return to the site of the D-Day invasion of Normandy, France in June 2009.
The D-Day Veterans Association Of Alachua County meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 11:00 AM. The place is CONESTOGAS in downtown Alachua. The public is welcome to join him and other veterans of World War II.
